I liked the name Akira as a first choice knowing it means 'bright prince' in Japanese - even though it's a fairly common name. 'Aki' also means autumn, but the colour of autumn is the colour of the sun (orange, red, yellow, gold etc) and 'Ra' is associated with the Egyptian Sun God Ra. I thought Blaze or Ray were the perfect surnames because they both represent Sol's role in in the comic as the personified sun (hence 'sun ray'). The name Uriel is Roman-Latin, meaning 'angel of light; Lucio and Lucifer are both Latin-derived meaning 'golden light'.
